Field Service
Services:
Our Field Service Engineers are capable of performing complete calibration and servicing of the Computrac® line of
moisture analyzers. This includes the MAX® 2000XL, MAX® 2000, and MAX® 1000 and the
Vapor Pro® series of moisture analyzers.
Annual calibration includes a full system check of all subassemblies, circuits, and components. Basic adjustments are performed to all
reference and power supply voltages to restore to factory specifications. Instruments are cleaned to remove excess material from the
interior compartments and test chamber, when feasible. All units undergo complete materials testing and When requested inter-unit
correlation.
All Computrac® MAX® and Vapor Pro® series units serviced on-site receive an NIST
traceable certificate of calibration. The NIST traceable calibration certificate shows incoming and outgoing data and lists test and
calibration equipment per NIST requirements.
Generally, customers need a minimum of three units per site for a field visit to be economically feasible.

Services:
Prior to putting a piece of equipment into service some industries require that certain protocols be followed in order to comply with
federal regulations. Some regulatory agencies, such as the FDA, require that the findings from this protocol be on file for all
equipment involved with production and/or process control.
Arizona Instrument's trained field service engineers are available to quickly bring a unit into service. Our field service engineers
are familiar with the process required for instrument validation, with the documentation and signature requirements, and the
instrument's operation.
Prior to beginning the protocol, the field service engineers first evaluate the condition of the unit to determine the likelihood of it
passing the validation protocol. Any required calibrations, adjustments, or servicing are performed prior to beginning the validation
protocol to assure success the first time.
This service is available at $1500.00 per instrument plus travel, lodging, and expenses.

Validation: $1500.00 per unit Servicing (if necessary): $130.00 per hour Parts: As Required

Services:
Site-specific training programs on either the Jerome® or Computrac® line of analyzers are specifically
designed to meet the needs of the company or of the audience. Available topics include operation, maintenance, quality control, error
messages, and calibration. Training programs can be customized to meet the specific needs of different audiences, even within one
site. For example:
- An operator training program centers upon daily operation, routine maintenance, and commonly encountered problems;
- A service training program focuses on calibration, servicing, error messages and troubleshooting;
- A management training program details quality control, inter-unit correlation and parameter development.
These programs are developed individually for each site to help our customers achieve the maximum benefit from the Computrac®
moisture analyzers or Jerome® toxic vapor analyzers. Sessions can be scheduled to cover both evening and night shifts
for maximum effectiveness.

Arizona Instrument's trained and experienced Field Service Engineers can assist in developing the optimum parameter sets for your
product on your new equipment to quickly bring a unit into service. They can complete the required documentation for transferring
process control or quality control testing to the new Computrac® moisture analyzer from the prior standard
equipment. Our Engineers are trained in application development, reference method testing, and quality control. They understand
the requirements and the limitations of a production facility and can ease the transition to new equipment.
Arizona Instrument offers our own proprietary, step-by-step Technology Transfer package. This package guides the end-user through
the parameter development process to assist in correlating new equipment to established methods.
