Vapor dilution module extends detection range of J505 from nanograms to milligrams
How it works:
The new 10:1 dilution module for the J505 reduces the concentration of mercury vapor in the sample stream by a factor of ten, allowing for a much higher upper detection limit. Rather than the standard upper detection limit of 500 µg/m3, the new J505 dilution module lets you detect mercury vapor concentrations as high as 5000 µg/m3.
Why it is important:
The J505 10:1 dilution module is useful for situations in which the mercury vapor concentration in the area you are sampling will be higher than what your J505 can measure.
