The Jerome® 631-X was introduced in 1990 and is well known worldwide for monitoring of hydrogen sulfide gas. The Jerome® 631-X uses Gold Film technology to accurately measure hydrogen sulfide concentrations as low as 0.003 ppm (3 ppb) for portable monitoring applications.
In 2005, Arizona Instrument LLC introduced the Jerome® 651 Hydrogen Sulfide Monitoring System. The Jerome® 651 incorporates the existing Jerome® 631-X into a climate-controlled, weatherproof enclosure. The system utilizes an on-board data logging system that can store up to 50,000 readings or the data can be wirelessly transmitted via its accompanying software to a designated computer. The software can be set for automatic sensor regeneration and provide customizable reports to track and accurately report odor levels, wind direction and temperature. The software can even be programmed to send an electronic alert message to notify of an odor event.
