Jerome® 471
Low Level Mercury Vapor Analyzer

The Jerome® 471 mercury vapor analyzer is the most recent addition to Arizona Instrument's Jerome family of vapor detection instruments. With over 20 years experience and unparalleled recognition in the portable vapor analysis market, Arizona Instrument LLC is introducing the next generation Jerome®.

Capable of detecting accurately down to 0.030 µg/m3, the 471 utilizes the UV Atomic Absorption spectrometry method of mercury vapor assessment. Accuracies are maintained by means of an internal reference cell. Interferences common in other technologies are greatly reduced due to the absorption specificity of the mercury atom.

Portable and easy-to-use, the 471 will provide up to 16 hours of field testing on one battery charge. The on-board controller will allow the user to easily navigate the touch screen set-up and testing modes. The user-programmable Threshold Settings feature allows the operator to select the limits at which testing will be conducted. A padded, adjustable shoulder strap and detachable probe aid in providing comfort and minimizing fatigue for the user during long periods of testing.
