Computrac® Temperature Calibration Module

TCI Statement & FAQ

Performance Comparison - May 2005

Arizona Instrument, the leader in moisture analysis technology, now offers a new Temperature Calibration Interface (TCI). The new TCI will enhance performance, and provide improved inter-unit correlation and test results. This enhancement is a reflection of our drive for continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and long-term reliability in the field.

The new TCI encompasses three changes to the Computrac MAX-2000XL design:

Temperature Calibration Disk - The new design has been developed to more accurately represent test conditions inside the heating chamber. The increase in the calibration disk surface area provides even heat distribution and absorption resulting in superior calibration capabilities.

Anodized Heater - The new heater has an anodized finish that resists discoloration and volatile accumulation. The anodized coating supplements the initial seasoning of the heater, which may reduce time spent cleaning the unit and improve unit-to-unit correlation.

Firmware - In addition to the advanced features already in the MAX-2000XL, our latest improvements back up the heater enhancement and support government regulations regarding electronic data storage (21 CFR Part 11).

The above improvements will be standard features from our factory beginning March 14, 2002. We will, of course, continue to provide support for previous versions of the MAX-2000XL to accommodate our customers' requirements.
